It's got a long history, maybe even visited by the Qianlong Emperor! And the stories behind the calligraphy and paintings are amazing.
What's the food like in Zhenjiang?
The pot cover noodles are interesting, the vinegar is great, but honestly, the pork wasn't as good as I hoped. Everything's a bit pricey though!
What was Xijindu like at night?
Absolutely magical! All the lanterns lit up, it was like being in Spirited Away. So beautiful!
What was the worst part of my trip?
Definitely the hotel room! It was terrible – a hole in the wall, a broken TV, and no hot water. But I got it changed eventually.
