It was super smooth and fast! The lady spoke perfect English and it only took a minute. I was surprised by how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
What was the food like?
The soup and noodles were delicious and very affordable! I also tried some dumplings in a local shop, and they were amazing and only cost around $2.30!
What was your overall first impression of Shanghai?
It's a mix of old and new, busy and chill. It's more comfortable than I expected, with a mix of modern and traditional elements. The people are friendly, and I feel pretty safe walking around.
How easy was it to get around?
I took the metro from the airport to the city, and it was easy. The city itself is very walkable, and I haven't had any problems navigating.
