It was a buffet with lots of traditional food, but surprisingly, most of it was cold! There was tofu and onion salad, steamed buns, cucumber salad, and wood ear mushroom salad, plus hard-boiled eggs.
What happened when we threw boiling water outside?
It turned into ice instantly! It was so cool, but I was a little nervous about getting burnt at first.
What was the horse sleigh ride like?
It was super fun but also a little scary! The horse went really fast, and it almost crashed into us. It was bumpy, but such an incredible way to see the town.
How much did it cost to go skiing?
It was so cheap! Only 170 kuai each for 30 minutes of skiing with an instructor. It was my first time skiing ever!
What was the Christmas village like?
It was amazing! Everything was made of ice and snow. There were so many huge sculptures. It was so cold though, we could only stay outside for about 5 minutes at a time.
What was dinner like?
We went to a local restaurant and had glass noodles and tomato and egg soup. It was tasty, but quite salty.
