This vlog follows Travelshorts' family's first visit to Shanghai Disneyland. Their journey begins at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Shanghai, offering stunning river views before they embark on their Disney adventure. They check into the Toy Story Hotel and take a shuttle to the park. A power bank issue at the entrance briefly delays them, highlighting a unique challenge. They purchase Premier Access passes to expedite their experience, opting for eight rides. Their adventure includes Soarin', offering a customized Shanghai skyline view; a uniquely themed Pirates of the Caribbean ride; and the much-anticipated Tron Lightcycle Power Run. They explore Zootopia, enjoying the Hot Pursuit ride and taking in the themed details. The Frozen singalong, however, proves less impressive than expected, lacking the emotional depth of other Disney iterations. They sample local snacks and meals, including a Marvel-themed lunch. The family's experience is punctuated by personal observations and reactions, such as Travelshorts' preference for classic Pirates of the Caribbean rides and their mixed feelings about the Frozen show. Definitely Tron! I'd been wanting to go on that for years!
What was the food like?
We had a Marvel-themed lunch, it was pretty pricey, but the Wagyu burger was amazing!
What was the best part of Zootopia?
The Hot Pursuit ride was really fun, and the whole land was so well-themed!
What was your biggest disappointment?
We missed the Jack Sparrow show because they wouldn't let us in even though we were early. That was really frustrating!
What was the Toy Story Hotel like?
It was themed really well, but unfortunately, it didn't have a swimming pool, which was a bummer.
