It was surprisingly easy and fast to go through customs and immigration. The airport itself was pretty empty.
What was the transportation like?
There are many options, like the metro, buses, and high-speed trains. It was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out.
What was the hotel like?
It was really nice and affordable, much better than the place we stayed in Beijing. It was under $200 for the week!
What was the food like?
The wontons were amazing! The soup dumplings were especially good on a cold day. We also tried this interesting bean juice/soy milk drink that was subtly sweet.
What was the biggest challenge?
Paying for the food was tricky because the restaurant only accepted UnionPay. We had to go to an ATM to withdraw cash.
