中国旅行lgbtage gapnortheast china中国乡村东北外国人在中国canadianfamilyfoodculturetraditions青岛哈尔滨village lifeWhat was it like making dumplings with Derek's cousin?
It was really funny watching her try to teach us. She made it look so easy, even with her long nails!
What was the food like at the pre-wedding banquet?
I don't think that was Chinese food as I know it, because I couldn't find sweet and sour chicken balls anywhere on the table!
What was your impression of Derek's hometown village?
It was absolutely incredible! It's amazing how everything's the same, but feels smaller when you come back after growing up.
What was the most surprising thing you ate?
Probably the green winter watermelons. They had more flavor than our red tomatoes!
What did you think of the hot pot?
It was amazing! We had all sorts of exotic mushrooms, different types of meat, and noodles. It was a really interactive experience!
