Definitely getting to the right train station in Guangzhou. We ended up at the wrong one and had to figure out how to get to the correct one, which was quite an adventure!
What was the most memorable interaction you had?
Meeting the security guard who helped us and kept us company along the way! He was so funny and made the whole experience much more enjoyable.
What's your advice for people planning a trip to China?
Definitely book your tickets online in advance, especially for trains! And be prepared for the unexpected - that's half the fun!
What was your impression of the people in China?
Most people were super friendly and helpful. Even when we struggled with language barriers, they went out of their way to help us.
What was the food like?
The food was great! I especially enjoyed the coconut buns and other snacks we found at the train station.
