Sven's day begins at Chengdu's Huanglongxi Ancient Town, a lively spot where he immediately buys a 2-yuan flower headband from a charming grandma, blending in with the crowd. He strolls through red-banded wishing spots, a golden temple pavilion, and a massive corridor bridge, noting the mix of tourists and local life—including elderly Chinese singing and playing mahjong. After climbing a steep bridge (closed at the top), he finds a quieter area where locals hang out, then enjoys a meal of spicy noodles and steamed pork dumplings, learning to mix them well. Back in the city at night, he visits the Fire Bridge (Jinhu Bridge) in the financial district, capturing the illuminated Twin Towers. Despite the dazzling lights, the evening turns emotional as he realizes he's leaving China soon, calling it his home in his heart. The vlog captures authentic interactions, from photo requests with Chinese girls to discovering German signs in the ancient town, all woven with vivid sensory details and a heartfelt goodbye.
Join Sven on a whirlwind day in Chengdu, from the ancient charm of Huanglongxi—where a flower headband and local noodles lead to unexpected joy—to the sci-fi glow of the Twin Towers at night. But as the lights fade, the traveler faces a bittersweet goodbye to China.
Sven explores Huanglongxi Ancient Town, buys a flower headband, eats local food, then marvels at Chengdu's Twin Towers before getting emotional about leaving.

It was only 2 yuan, and the grandma was so cute. Everyone wears them in the ancient town, so I joined in.
What were the noodles and dumplings like?
They were noodles with a bit of chili, and I mixed them well. The dumplings had pork inside and were steamed, not crispy like in Japan.
What made you nearly cry at the end?
Probably the moment I realized I was leaving China soon. The twin towers at night were beautiful, but then I got really emotional.
