Definitely getting to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on time! We took a wrong turn and almost missed the show. The ride-hailing app's location was completely wrong!
How much did you pay for your hotel in Lijiang?
Only 7 pounds a night! It was an amazing little wooden cabin with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Totally worth it!
What was your favorite food in Lijiang?
The street food was amazing, especially the beef skewers! They were huge and only cost about a pound each. We also had some delicious dumplings and chili flakes.
What was the most memorable part of your trip?
The Blue Moon Valley was absolutely incredible! The water was the most unreal turquoise color I've ever seen. It was so beautiful, it almost looked fake!
What's your overall impression of Lijiang?
It was a really chaotic and stressful day, but the beauty of the place made it totally worth it. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the slower pace of life in the old town was a nice change from the big cities.
