They found him easy to get along with, quick to learn, and fun to be around. My mother had some initial concerns about cultural differences, but those seemed to lessen over time.
What was their favorite part of the trip?
My mother appreciated the veranda views from our hotels and the opportunity to observe local life. They both enjoyed the food and meeting Aysajan's family.
What's next for Katherine and her family?
They plan to return to China annually and are looking forward to future trips. Katherine will be documenting her North China bike tour soon!
