Today I’m visiting a local supermarket in a third-tier Chinese city during Chinese New Year, looking at the decorations, prices, and the way the store is set up for the holiday season. As I walk through the aisles, I film the festive lanterns, banners, and New Year displays hanging from the ceiling, along with the everyday shelves, delivery boxes, and restocking in progress. I take a closer look at food prices, seasonal products, and some of the unique New Year gift packages and decorations that only appear at this time of year. The supermarket is busy preparing for the holiday, and you can see both the celebration and the practical day-to-day running of a local store in China.
A vivid look inside a local supermarket in a third-tier Chinese city during Chinese New Year, where the festive mood blends with everyday bustle. The video walks you through aisles lined with lanterns, banners, and ceiling hangings that signal the holiday, while delivery boxes and restocking efforts reveal the store’s day-to-day rhythm. I pause to inspect food prices, seasonal products, and the special New Year gift packages and decorations that only appear at this time of year, offering a snapshot of how ordinary shoppers navigate the holiday season. The scene captures both celebration and practicality, showing how a local Chinese supermarket gears up for a major festival and keeps commerce humming at the same time.
