Today we took on one of our biggest Disney challenges yet… eating ONLY Disney food for 24 hours inside Shanghai Disneyland in China. Our adventure began at the incredible Toy Story Hotel where we explored the kids club and started the challenge with breakfast at the hotel restaurant before heading into the park using the early access passes. We managed to ride the brand new Zootopia attractions and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before the huge queues arrived, before exploring Main Street and trying some of Shanghai Disney’s most viral snacks and themed foods. From Disney shaped sandwiches while watching the parade, to souvenir shopping around the park and finishing the day with an unforgettable Donald Duck shaped dinner, this turned into one of the craziest and most fun Disney days we’ve ever had. We even hired one of the official Shanghai Disneyland butlers to guide us around the park and help us experience the very best rides, food and hidden secrets Shanghai Disney has to offer.

The adventure begins at the Toy Story Hotel, where they discover the Sunnyside Cafe for breakfast, enjoying Toy Story toast, Mickey bars, and a pistachio Buzz Lightyear cake pop. Despite a slight hiccup with non-themed food, the family embraces the challenge. The next morning, they enter the park via early access and head straight to Zootopia, riding the new Hot Pursuit attraction before the crowds arrive. They sample a giant paw-print chocolate lollipop, a cinnamon Mickey bun, and a Mickey hand bun filled with spicy pulled pork. The parade features unique Zootopia and Mulan characters. Shopping yields Zootopia gummies and Mickey cookies. The day winds down with Chip and Dale croissants and a final Donald Duck dinner, complete with ducky cups and calamari. The challenge is declared a success with no cheating.

The giant paw-print chocolate from Zootopia was our favorite even though it was not shaped like a character, it had a amazing raspberry chocolate flavor with a sour zing.
Was the 24-hour challenge hard to stick to?
It was tough but we managed no cheating. The hardest part was finding Disney-shaped drinks; we allowed Disney cups as a loophole.
What ride did you enjoy most at Shanghai Disneyland?
The Zootopia Hot Pursuit ride was incredible even though I had not seen the film recently. It was well worth the early morning run.
