Probably Shamian Island! It's like a whole European neighborhood in the middle of China. I never expected to see something like that.
How was the food?
The food was amazing! We tried so many different things, from noodles and dumplings to pork buns and egg tarts. Everything was delicious and surprisingly affordable.
What was your experience with Alipay like?
Alipay was mostly convenient, but I did have some trouble with it at one Coco store. It only accepted mainland China cards, which was a bit of a surprise.
What was the hotel like?
The hotel was a budget-friendly option, but it was still pretty nice. It had a great city view and all the essentials.
What was the weather like?
The weather was pretty cold and rainy during our stay. It was in the low 40s and made exploring a bit challenging.
